We hope ya'll had a great Thanksgiving! We sure did. We had some wonderful food and we got to have time with family. As you can see Brittany is getting bigger, and that is not from too much pie:)

She is going to have my first grand baby in Feb. We are all so excited!

This is our Word of the Day Calendar Bundle.  There is a daily word on each calendar piece that teaches your kiddos  about monthly content words.  These calendar words have really increased my student's writing skills as well as vocabulary development. Thanksgiving Activities

Fun Friday and 50% off our Halloween Math Bundle!

 Welcome to another Fun Friday! We hope ya'll enjoyed the Fall Blog Hop and our Free Pumpkin Poem.  This week we have started working on some fun Halloween math.   Ya'll can get all these centers and more in this bundle 50% off Oct. 24-26.


One of our centers was making fact families. We called it the Pumpkin Family Patch. This was the center that I stayed with today because the kiddos needed more direction with this.

 After we cut the flaps, we glued the sheet onto paper. Be sure to remind them not to glue the flaps down.

 Then the kiddos chose their numbers to use for their fact families.

 Then they wrote their fact families.

 We have been practicing our Fact Family song that is also included in this pack and working on fact families.

 Some of my kiddos sang the song while they created their fact families.

I had my kiddos circle the last numbers, so they knew those are the numbers they start with for subtraction.

Another center was counting by tens using pumpkins.

The next center was counting by fives.

 The kiddos loved turning the web as they practiced counting by fives.

We also used these cards from our bundle to practice fact families. I laminated them and they used dry erase markers. There is also a recording sheet and answer key included.

 This was so great to see them circling the numbers like I had taught them.:)

 These number cards are also included. This is great practice for those students who need number order. The kiddos love Quality Quentin on the cards!
