My students are learning so much vocabulary from our calendar pieces. They have their own copy of the calendar and they write the word of the day, number of syllables, picture and write about the word in a notebook. It has been great for my ELL students because it is introducing new words to them. Our set also includes a scoot vocabulary game to play to review the words.
